No. 10 Road Relocation Project Phase I
Implementation
Project provides engineering services to design a new 1.5 mile auxiliary road segment and infrastructure associated with the vacation and removal of approximately 1.2 miles of roadbed, one bridge, and one culvert road crossing currently located within the floodplain of Desolation Creek, tributary to the North Fork John Day River. This project is Phase I of the proposed project. Phase II Is proposed to construct the new roadway with Phase III formally vacating the current road and performing the road decommission along with stream and floodplain restoration elements.

Explanation: | The 15% design, or concept development, has been completed and submitted to the Umatilla Tribes and BPA for review. The 15% design included the preliminary road alignment along with the design of all vertical and horizontal curves. Once approval is received from the Umatilla Tribes and BPA, work will begin to finalize the 30% design. |
